  • TABMA (QLD) will arrange alternative work placement should the host employer experience business or unresolved difficulties with their trainee/apprentice.

How School Based Traineeships/Apprenticeships Work
  • Students undertake a government approved and accredited training qualification with a training provider chosen by the employer, host employer and the training provider.
  • The trainee/apprentice will participate in paid employment with your business for a minimum of 48 days per 12 month period.
  • They are paid only for the time spent at work.
  • They will work one full day per week in lieu of attending school, and may also need to work during the school holidays and Christmas holiday break.
